ABOUT ME

My name is Alexandra, a masters-level, licensed clinical therapist.

Becoming a counselor was an interesting transition from once being a client; I know many of those feelings that we have sitting in the client chair. They include the familiar jitters we get when we meet a new therapist, or anxiously awaiting next week’s appointment to share what happened.

There is comfort in having someone who we can confide in and lean on. Perhaps, that is something we have never felt but want to.

We want therapy that makes us feel safe and cared for. There is freedom that comes with being able to speak freely about victories and losses, annoyances and joys. It is priceless to have a close confidant you can brainstorm with, solve problems and bounce ideas off of.
